The SST+ ½” Prentice drill bits are designed to be durable and efficient for use in portable drills, drill presses, and magnetic base drills with ½” chuck capacity. These drill bits feature extra hard tips that enable the drilling of numerous holes before needing to be re-sharpened. Made with a cobalt blend, they are built to last longer. The shank of the drill bits is designed with 3 flats to prevent slippage inside the chuck. With their exclusive point geometry, pre-drilling is eliminated, allowing for faster drilling. Additionally, these drill bits undergo a special bronze SST surface treatment.
