The SST+ ½” Prentice drill bits are designed for heavy-duty use in portable drills, drill presses, and magnetic base drills with a ½” chuck capacity. Featuring extra hard tips, these large diameter bits can drill numerous holes before needing to be sharpened. Made with a cobalt blend, they have a longer lifespan. The shank is equipped with 3 flats to prevent slippage in the chuck, allowing for faster hole drilling. With exclusive point geometry, pre-drilling is eliminated. The drill bits also undergo a special bronze SST surface treatment.
