These cutters feature an innovative coating made with a unique combination of chromium and aluminum (AICrN) that surpasses the performance of Titanium (TiN) or Titanium-Aluminum (TiAIN) coated cutters. The incorporation of a chromium aluminum blend into the coating enables the Walter ICECUT annular cutters to endure temperatures at least 200 degrees Celsius higher than conventional TiAIN cutters while generating minimal heat. This exclusive coating also enhances the ICECUT's resistance to increased stress under load and instantaneous impact. Boasting fully ground extra large flutes, an updated tooth design and cutter geometry, as well as a state-of-the-art high technology coating, the ICECUT provides unmatched durability.
