The Walter Enduro-Flex Flap Disc (15R709) represents a significant advancement in abrasive technology for industrial metalworking. Designed to replace traditional grinding wheels and sanding discs in many applications, this 7-inch disc combines aggressive material removal with a high-quality surface finish. The 40 grit configuration is engineered for heavy stock removal, making it ideal for weld removal, beveling, and edge chamfering on both steel and stainless steel substrates.

A defining feature of the Enduro-Flex series is the patented Eco-Trim backing. Unlike conventional fiberglass-backed flap discs where the disc must be discarded once the outer edge wears down, the Enduro-Flex backing is made from a specialized composite that can be trimmed away. This exposes fresh abrasive grain towards the center of the disc, effectively extending the product's service life by up to three times.
