The 80 grit aluminum oxide grain provides a perfect balance between material removal and finish quality. It is aggressive enough to strip away light corrosion, mill scale, and old paint, yet fine enough to leave a smooth, consistent scratch pattern that promotes excellent adhesion for primers and paints. This makes the 14A908 an excellent choice for inter-pass cleaning or for dressing a weld seam after grinding.
