Unlike standard acetylene tips, the HWN series utilizes a two-piece construction consisting of an outer shell and an inner member. This design is critical for alternative fuels, as it creates a recess at the tip end to anchor the flame, ensuring stability even at the high flow rates required for heavy section cutting.

With a massive cutting capacity of 14 inches (354mm), the Size 12 HWN tip is a powerhouse tool intended for heavy fabrication, demolition, and scrapping operations.
