FAQ

The Victor 8-VBN tip has a cutting capacity of approximately 10 inches (254 mm).

This tip is designed for use with Propane or Natural Gas only. It is not for use with Acetylene.

VBN (Bulldog) tips feature a heavy-wall design specifically to resist slag build-up and heat in scrap applications, whereas GPN tips are for general purpose cutting.

The heavy wall design resists the adhesion of molten slag and withstands the high heat reflection common in scrap cutting, lasting longer than standard tips.

The 8-VBN is a two-piece tip, consisting of a brass outer shell and an internal insert, which is standard for propane/natural gas tips.

It fits Victor torches that accept standard commercial cutting tips, but is best used with heavy-duty torches capable of supplying the gas volume needed for a size 8 tip.

The Victor 6700C0715 8-VBN tip is manufactured in the United States.
