The tip is manufactured from hard-drawn, electrolytic, tough pitch copper, a material choice that offers exceptional thermal conductivity and resistance to heat deformation. Unlike multi-piece designs or standard copper alloys, this one-piece construction withstands high operating temperatures and mechanical wear, significantly extending the service life of the consumable in heavy-duty environments.

Technically, the 16K09 features a medium preheat configuration with six preheat holes.
