The Smith Equipment H753 Flashback Arrestor set is a critical safety component for any oxy-fuel welding or cutting setup. Designed to mount directly to the regulator outlets, these devices provide a dual layer of protection against the hazards of mixed gas explosions and flashback fires. Each unit integrates a high-quality reverse flow check valve with a sintered stainless steel flame arrestor. This combination ensures that gas flow remains unidirectional while simultaneously creating a barrier that extinguishes flames before they can reach the regulator or cylinder.

Engineered for high-capacity performance, the H753 series does not significantly impede gas flow, allowing for cutting applications up to 12 inches (305 mm) and welding applications up to 3/8 inch (9 mm). The internal check valve requires a low cracking pressure of just 2 PSIG to open, ensuring consistent delivery during operation. The housing is machined from solid brass, offering excellent durability and corrosion resistance in industrial environments. The units are color-coded—green for oxygen and red for fuel gas—to prevent cross-connection errors during installation.

These arrestors are compatible with all major brands of gas pressure regulators that utilize standard CGA "B" size (9/16" - 18) outlet fittings.
