Engineered for reliability in dual-cylinder setups, this unit integrates an automatic changeover mechanism that seamlessly transitions the gas draw from a depleted 'service' cylinder to a full 'reserve' cylinder. This functionality is critical in applications such as heating, refrigeration, and critical appliance operation where fuel interruption could lead to system failure or inconvenience.

Technically, the regulator operates by reducing high-pressure tank gas in two distinct stages. The first stage reduces the variable tank pressure to a consistent intermediate pressure, while the second stage reduces it further to the standard utilization pressure of 11 inches of Water Column (W.C.).
