OVERVIEW

Reliable Medium Duty Torch Handle for Industrial Applications

The AWH-100 Medium Duty Victor Style Welding Handle is a precision-engineered replacement for the industry-standard Victor® 100 Series torch handles. Designed for versatility and durability, this handle serves as the foundational component for a wide range of oxy-fuel processes, including welding, brazing, soldering, heating, and cutting. Its medium-duty classification makes it an ideal choice for general fabrication, HVAC maintenance, automotive repair, and light industrial projects where maneuverability and control are paramount.

Constructed from high-quality brass, the AWH-100 features a ribbed barrel design that provides excellent thermal dissipation and a secure, non-slip grip, even when wearing heavy welding gloves. The internal gas tubes are made from stainless steel for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance. A key feature of this model is the inclusion of internal reverse flow check valves. These safety devices are critical for preventing the dangerous backflow of gases, significantly reducing the risk of mixed-gas accidents during operation. Note that while check valves are included, the use of external flash arrestors is always recommended for maximum safety compliance.

The handle utilizes standard 9/16"-18 "B" size hose connections, ensuring compatibility with the vast majority of twin welding hoses available on the market. The oxygen and fuel control valves are equipped with stainless steel ball stems, allowing for smooth, precise adjustment of the flame profile. This granular control is essential for achieving the neutral flame required for high-quality welding or the oxidizing flame often needed for cutting. The AWH-100 is fully compatible with Victor-style CA1350 cutting attachments, as well as W-1 welding nozzles and MFA heating tips, making it a versatile addition to any gas apparatus toolkit.

Whether you are replacing a worn-out handle or assembling a new oxy-fuel outfit, the AWH-100 delivers professional-grade performance and reliability. Its robust design ensures it can withstand the rigors of daily shop use while maintaining tight seal integrity and gas flow efficiency.

FAQ

Yes, the AWH-100 is fully compatible with Victor® 100 Series cutting attachments, such as the CA1350, as well as equivalent aftermarket versions.

It features standard "B" size 9/16"-18 threaded connections, which are the industry standard for most welding hoses.

The handle comes equipped with internal reverse flow check valves. While these prevent backflow, we highly recommend installing external flash arrestors at the torch or regulator for complete flashback protection.

Absolutely. The AWH-100 is an "all-fuel" handle. You can use Acetylene, Propane, Propylene, or Natural Gas, provided you use the correct tips and T-grade hose for the specific fuel gas.

This is a medium-duty handle, which is physically smaller and lighter than heavy-duty (300 series) handles. It is easier to maneuver for general work but has a lower maximum cutting/heating capacity than the heavy-duty models.

This handle accepts Victor Style W-1 series welding nozzles and MFA series heating nozzles.

The handle body is constructed from solid brass with a ribbed design for grip, ensuring durability and heat resistance.

As a generic replacement part, warranty terms may vary, but these handles are typically tested for leaks and flow consistency before shipping.
