The Harris 4400366 Ironworker Deluxe is a comprehensive medium-duty oxy-acetylene outfit designed for versatile industrial applications. This kit is engineered around the Model 85 combination torch handle and the Model 72-3 cutting attachment, providing a robust platform for cutting, welding, brazing, and heating. The Model 85 handle utilizes a twin-tube, silver-brazed construction which offers maximum safety and durability compared to tube-within-a-tube designs. It is equipped with external replaceable FlashGuard® check valves to prevent reverse gas flows, enhancing operator safety during operation.

At the core of the gas control system are the Model 801 regulators for oxygen and acetylene. These regulators feature a one-piece encapsulated seat design with an internal filter and a PTFE Teflon seat, ensuring reliable performance and extended service life. The regulators are backed by a 7-year warranty, reflecting their industrial build quality. The oxygen regulator (Model 801-145-540) delivers up to 145 PSIG, while the acetylene regulator (Model 801-15-510) is designed for standard CGA 510 cylinders delivering up to 15 PSIG.

The outfit is capable of cutting up to 5 inches (127mm) plate and welding up to 1/2 inch (12.7mm) plate with optional tips. As supplied, the kit includes a 6290-1AC cutting tip (cutting up to 1 inch) and a 23A90-5 welding tip (welding up to 1/16 inch). The Model 72-3 cutting attachment features brazed triangular stainless steel tubes for exceptional rigidity and a solid forged brass head that resists damage from abuse and flashbacks. The ease-on cutting valve allows for smoother, controlled starts.

This complete kit also includes a 20-foot twin Grade R hose, shade 5 safety glasses, a flint striker, and an insulated tool bag for storage and transport. The connection type for the fuel gas is CGA 510, making it compatible with standard industrial acetylene cylinders (not compatible with B or MC tanks).
