The Flame Tech VMAR-22 is a precision-engineered medium-duty acetylene regulator designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial gas control. Modeled after the classic Victor® style, this regulator integrates seamlessly into existing oxy-fuel cutting and welding setups that utilize standard medium-duty equipment. The unit is distinguished by its solid brass body and bonnet construction, a material choice that ensures high resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress, essential for maintaining structural integrity in harsh industrial environments.

A critical specification of the VMAR-22 is its CGA 510 inlet connection. This male fitting is specifically designed to mate with acetylene cylinders featuring female valves, a common configuration in many industrial supply chains. It is imperative for operators to verify their cylinder valve threads prior to procurement; this unit is not compatible with CGA 300 cylinders without an adapter. The regulator operates with a maximum inlet pressure of 400 PSIG, making it suitable for standard acetylene service pressures.

Flow control is managed via a robust "T" handle pressure adjustment screw, allowing for fine-tuning of delivery pressure within the 2-15 PSIG range.
