It features a 90-degree head angle, the standard for most straight cutting applications, and boasts a massive cutting capacity of up to 24 inches (610 mm) when using acetylene, or 20 inches (508 mm) with propane and natural gas.

Robust Construction for Severe Applications

At the core of the SC939's reliability is its Manganese Bronze Head. Unlike standard brass heads, this thick-walled manganese bronze construction is virtually immune to heat warping and damage, making it ideal for high-heat reflected environments often found in heavy scrap cutting. The torch utilizes a Three-Tube Construction design, which keeps the fuel gas and oxygen separate inside the handle and tubes, only mixing them within the cutting tip itself. This "in-tip mix" method significantly reduces the risk of flashback and eliminates mixing tube burnout, a common failure point in tube-mix torches.

The SC939 is designed with the operator in mind. It features a reversible cutting lever that can be mounted on either the top or the bottom of the handle, accommodating different grip preferences and cutting positions.
