The Smith SC360 is a premium heavy-duty straight cutting torch engineered for rigorous industrial applications. With a 36-inch overall length and a 180-degree head angle, this tool is specifically designed for extended reach and straight-on accessibility, making it suitable for demolition, salvage, and heavy fabrication tasks. The torch body is constructed with three heavy-wall stainless steel tubes that provide structural rigidity and separate gas flow paths, ensuring durability in harsh environments.

A defining feature of the SC Series is the proprietary "in-tip" mixing technology. Unlike traditional tube-mix torches where gases combine in the handle or tubes, the SC360 keeps oxygen and fuel gas separate until they reach the cutting tip. This design significantly mitigates the risk of flashback and enhances operator safety. The torch utilizes Smith's Graf-Tite® soft seat cutting tips, which feature a compressible graphite seating material. This allows for a positive, leak-proof seal to be achieved with hand tightening alone, eliminating the need for wrenches and reducing wear on the torch head.

The SC360 is a versatile platform compatible with all major industrial fuel gases, including acetylene, propane, propylene, and natural gas. Operators need only select the appropriate SC Series tip for their chosen fuel gas. The torch is rated to cut steel up to 12 inches (305 mm) thick.
