OVERVIEW

Precision Low-Pressure Monitoring for Industrial Applications

The Techniweld C100 is a robust 1-1/2 inch pressure gauge designed specifically for the demands of the welding and industrial gas sectors. Engineered to provide accurate readings in the 0-100 PSI range, this gauge is an essential component for maintaining safety and efficiency in gas delivery systems. The unit features a standard 1/8-inch NPT bottom mount connection, making it universally compatible with a wide array of pressure regulators, flowmeters, and pneumatic equipment commonly found in fabrication shops and manufacturing facilities.

Constructed with durability in mind, the C100 utilizes a sturdy case housing that protects the internal mechanism from dust, debris, and minor impacts associated with daily industrial use. The dial face is designed with high-contrast numerals and graduation marks, ensuring that operators can quickly and accurately verify pressure settings at a glance. This is particularly critical in welding applications where precise gas flow is necessary to ensure weld quality and prevent defects such as porosity.

This gauge is particularly well-suited for the delivery side of acetylene regulators or other low-pressure inert gas applications where the working pressure typically falls within the 0-15 PSI or 0-30 PSI range, but a 100 PSI scale provides necessary overhead for safety and surge monitoring. The 1/8" NPT brass connection ensures a leak-tight seal when properly installed with thread sealant, maintaining the integrity of the gas system. Whether used for replacement maintenance or OEM assembly, the Techniweld C100 delivers consistent performance.

FAQ

This gauge has a 1/8 inch NPT (National Pipe Taper) thread, which is the standard size for most small welding regulators.

While the pressure range is 0-100 PSI, oxygen service requires equipment to be 'cleaned for oxygen service' to prevent combustion. Unless explicitly stated on the packaging as O2 clean, it is safer to use specific oxygen gauges. However, 100 PSI is typically too low for oxygen cylinder pressure (which is 2000+ PSI) but may fit the delivery side.

No, the C100 is a dry gauge. It does not contain glycerin or silicone filling.

Wrap the threads with Teflon tape or apply thread sealant (compatible with your gas). Screw the gauge into the port by hand, then tighten with a wrench using the brass square stem at the bottom. Do not tighten by gripping the round case.

It will fit if your regulator uses a 1/8" NPT port for the gauge. Most smaller and medium-duty regulators use this size, but some heavy-duty ones might use 1/4" NPT. Check your existing gauge stem size to be sure.

Bottom mount means the threaded connection comes out of the bottom of the gauge circle (at the 6 o'clock position), as opposed to the back (center back mount).

The dial face diameter is 1-1/2 inches (1.5").

Yes, as long as the water pressure does not exceed 100 PSI and the brass internals are compatible with the fluid, it can be used for water.
