The tip distinguishes itself through its heavy-wall copper construction. Unlike standard thin-wall tips, the substantial copper mass of the SW201 provides superior thermal conductivity. This design characteristic allows the tip to dissipate reflected heat more efficiently, permitting cooler operation even during prolonged welding sessions or when working in confined spaces where heat reflection is significant.

A critical technical feature of the SW201 is the "Soft Flame" technology. The internal geometry of the tip is swaged to produce a laminar gas flow, resulting in a concentrated yet turbulence-free flame.
