The Uniweld 40AF-21 is a premium hand cutting torch designed for industrial environments requiring versatility and safety. Part of the 40AF series, this torch utilizes a "tip mix" mixing system. Unlike tube-mix torches, the 40AF mixes the oxygen and fuel gas inside the cutting tip itself rather than in the torch head or tubes. This design significantly reduces the risk of flashback and allows the torch to operate safely with a variety of fuel gases—including Acetylene, Propane, Propylene, and Natural Gas—simply by installing the appropriate tip for the chosen gas.

Constructed with three stainless steel tubes, the 40AF-21 maintains gas separation until the point of mixing, providing an additional layer of safety and durability. The triangular tube arrangement offers structural rigidity while keeping the weight balanced.
