The Victor Medalist 250 Propylene Outfit (SKU: 0384-2545) is a medium-to-heavy duty cutting system specifically engineered for use with propylene, propane, and natural gas. This comprehensive outfit is built around the robust G250 series regulators and the industry-standard WH411C torch handle, providing professionals with a reliable toolset for fabrication, maintenance, and repair applications. Unlike standard acetylene kits, this system includes Grade T hoses and regulators calibrated for LP gases, ensuring both safety and optimal performance.

Precision Control with G250 Regulators

At the heart of the system are the G250-150-540 (Oxygen) and G250-60-510LP (Fuel) regulators. These single-stage regulators are designed with large, easy-to-read gauges and color-coded knobs for quick identification and adjustment. The internal design minimizes pressure fluctuation, providing a steady flame even during extended cutting operations. The fuel regulator is equipped with a CGA 510 connection, making it compatible with standard propylene and propane cylinders.

Versatile Torch Platform

The outfit features the WH411C torch handle paired with the CA411-1 cutting attachment. This combination offers excellent balance and ergonomics, reducing operator fatigue during long shifts. The torch handle includes built-in check valves, a critical safety feature that prevents reverse flow of gases. While the kit comes ready to cut up to 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) material with the included 1-3-GPN tip, the system is capable of cutting up to 5 inches (127 mm) and handling heating applications when equipped with the appropriate optional Series 3 tips and nozzles.

Complete Ready-to-Run Kit

This system is supplied as a complete outfit, requiring only gas cylinders to begin operation. It includes a 20-foot Grade T twin hose, which is chemically resistant to the damaging effects of alternate fuels, preventing the rotting and cracking common with Grade R hoses in LP service. Also included are a striker and soft-sided goggles, ensuring you have the necessary safety gear to start working immediately.
