Part of the renowned MT 1065 series, this torch is specifically configured for use with Acetylene gas, delivering the high flame temperature required for rapid piercing and fast cutting speeds. The unit features a "Three Hose" design, which is critical for high-speed machine cutting. Unlike two-hose systems, a three-hose configuration separates the cutting oxygen supply from the preheat oxygen supply. This separation ensures that when the high-pressure cutting oxygen stream is engaged, the preheat flame remains stable and does not starve, resulting in a cleaner face and sharper top edge.

Constructed with a standard 1.25-inch (31.8mm) diameter brass barrel, the MT-1065A is compatible with the vast majority of torch mounts, track burners, and beveling machines found in industrial fabrication shops. This specific model features a compact 4-inch barrel length, making it ideal for setups where vertical clearance is limited or where a lower profile is required.
