This unit is specifically configured with a CGA 590 inlet connection, making it suitable for specialized industrial gas cylinders. The regulator operates with a maximum inlet pressure of 3500 PSI and provides a delivery pressure range of 0-250 PSI, accommodating a wide variety of laboratory and maintenance applications.

At the core of this regulator is its two-stage reduction mechanism. Unlike single-stage counterparts, this design reduces cylinder pressure in two steps, ensuring that the final delivery pressure remains constant even as the supply cylinder drains.
