The Miller Smith 212-20-10 Silverline High Purity Analytical Single Stage Regulator is engineered for specialized applications requiring the precise management of non-corrosive gases. Part of the renowned 210 Silverline Series, this regulator is constructed to bridge the gap between standard industrial regulators and high-cost stainless steel instrumentation equipment. It features a rugged brass bar stock body that is fully plated, along with the bonnet and gauges, to provide superior protection against environmental corrosion and to maintain a clean aesthetic suitable for laboratory environments.

Technically, the 212-20-10 excels in maintaining gas purity. It utilizes a stainless steel diaphragm which eliminates the outgassing associated with elastomeric diaphragms and provides a metal-to-metal seal for high leak integrity. This construction is highly resistant to inboard diffusion of atmospheric contaminants, ensuring that the analytical grade gas remains pure from the cylinder to the instrument. The unit is equipped with a filtered seat that traps particulate matter, extending the service life of the regulator and further protecting downstream equipment. With a delivery range of 0-100 PSIG and a CGA 590 inlet, it is specifically configured for gases such as Industrial Air or Sulfur Hexafluoride.

The regulator is designed to withstand vacuums generated during purging operations, a critical feature for maintaining system purity during cylinder change-outs. The outlet is fitted with a 1/4" MNPT needle valve, allowing for fine flow control directly at the regulator.
