The Miller Smith 254-00-09 Silverline High Purity Analytical Liquid Cylinder Regulator is a precision-engineered instrument designed to meet the rigorous demands of laboratory and industrial gas distribution. Part of the esteemed 250 Silverline Series, this single-stage regulator is specifically configured for use with liquid cylinders, featuring a back-mount (rear entry) inlet connection that aligns perfectly with standard liquid cylinder geometry. This orientation minimizes strain on connections and allows for a cleaner, more organized setup in gas storage areas.

At the core of this regulator's performance is the large 1-7/8 inch stainless steel diaphragm. Unlike elastomeric diaphragms that can become brittle or permeable at low temperatures, the stainless steel construction provides superior sensitivity and longevity, particularly in cryogenic applications where gas temperatures can fluctuate. This ensures precise control of delivery pressure within the 0-200 PSIG range, making it suitable for sensitive analytical instrumentation that requires stable flow rates.

Durability and contamination control are paramount in the design of the 254-00-09. The unit features Smith's exclusive Sure-Seat™ filtered seat technology. This high-density filter prevents particulate contamination from entering the high-pressure seating area, a common cause of regulator failure and creep. Externally, the regulator is constructed from rugged brass bar stock which is then fully nickel-plated.
