OVERVIEW

Precision Control for High Purity Applications

The Miller Smith 620-01-02-00-00 Silverline High Purity Brass Two Stage Regulator is an elite instrument engineered for non-corrosive specialty gas applications where maintaining gas purity and precise pressure control is paramount. Designed with a CGA 320 inlet, this regulator is specifically configured for Carbon Dioxide (CO2) service, making it a critical component for analytical laboratories, laser systems, and emission monitoring setups. The core of the 620 Series is its two-stage regulation mechanism, which steps down cylinder pressure in two distinct phases. This architecture ensures that the delivery pressure remains rock-steady at your set point (0-25 PSI) even as the supply cylinder drains and inlet pressure fluctuates, eliminating the need for constant manual adjustments.

Advanced Materials and Construction

Constructed from nickel-plated brass bar stock, the body of the regulator offers the weight and durability of brass with the enhanced corrosion resistance and cleanliness of nickel plating. A standout feature is the stainless steel diaphragm, which provides a metal-to-metal seal against the body. Unlike elastomeric diaphragms that can off-gas or absorb contaminants, the stainless steel interface ensures the integrity of the gas stream is preserved, preventing impurities from entering your process. The regulator also features a 316 stainless steel filter at the seat to trap particulates, further protecting the internal components and extending the unit's operational life.

Safety and Versatility

Safety is integrated into the design with capturable vent ports (1/16" FNPT) located in the bonnet. These allow for the safe piping away of gases in the unlikely event of a diaphragm failure, a crucial feature when working in enclosed environments. The regulator is also designed to withstand internal vacuums, making it suitable for rigorous purging operations without damage. With threaded front and rear bonnets, the unit is panel-mountable, offering flexibility for integration into gas management panels or benchtop setups. The large 2-1/2 inch single scale gauge provides clear, easy-to-read pressure monitoring, ensuring operators can verify system status at a glance.
