The Miller Smith 312-00-25-00-00 Silverline Series Regulator is a premium single-stage pressure control device engineered specifically for high purity, toxic, and corrosive gas applications. Manufactured from high-grade 316 stainless steel bar stock, this regulator is designed to withstand the rigorous demands of specialty gas environments where material compatibility and leak integrity are paramount. The unit features a CGA 660 stainless steel inlet connection, making it suitable for a specific range of reactive gases often found in laboratory, semiconductor, and chemical processing industries.

At the core of the 312 Series is a convoluted stainless steel diaphragm. Unlike rubber or elastomeric diaphragms that can outgas or degrade when exposed to corrosive media, this metal diaphragm provides a metal-to-metal seal, ensuring maximum leak integrity and preventing contamination of the gas stream. The diaphragm's convoluted design also enhances sensitivity, allowing for precise regulation of delivery pressure up to 100 PSIG. The seat assembly utilizes 316 stainless steel with a PCTFE insert, which offers excellent chemical resistance and mechanical stability, further ensuring the purity of the gas stream and extending the service life of the regulator.

Safety is a critical component of the Silverline design. The bonnet includes a captured vent port (1/16" FNPT), which allows operators to pipe vented gases away to a safe disposal system in the unlikely event of a diaphragm failure. This feature is essential when handling hazardous or toxic media. Additionally, the regulator is equipped with large, 2-1/2 inch single-scale gauges that are easy to read, providing immediate visual confirmation of cylinder and delivery pressures. The body is also tapped for rear panel mounting and the bonnet threaded for front panel mounting, offering flexibility for system integration.

This regulator is rated for a maximum inlet pressure of 3500 PSIG and is capable of withstanding internal vacuum, making it versatile for various purging and process cycles. Note that for hazardous gas applications, a cross purge assembly is recommended to ensure effective purging of lines during cylinder changes.
