OVERVIEW

High Purity Regulation for Corrosive Environments

The Miller Smith 312-66-22-00-00 Silverline High Purity Regulator is a precision-engineered single-stage device designed specifically for the control of corrosive, non-corrosive, and toxic gases in critical applications. Manufactured from high-grade 316 stainless steel bar stock, this regulator minimizes particle generation and outgassing, making it an essential component for high-purity gas delivery systems in laboratories, research centers, and semiconductor manufacturing facilities. The unit features a 316 PCTFE (Polychlorotrifluoroethylene) seat, chosen for its excellent chemical resistance and mechanical stability, ensuring a reliable shut-off and extended service life even when exposed to aggressive media.

Technical precision is achieved through a specially designed convoluted stainless steel diaphragm. This advanced diaphragm architecture provides superior sensitivity to pressure fluctuations, allowing for accurate and stable delivery pressure regulation within the 0-100 PSIG range. Crucially, the regulator employs a metal-to-metal seal between the diaphragm and the body. This design eliminates the need for elastomeric seals that can degrade or cause contamination, thereby maximizing leak integrity—a non-negotiable requirement when handling hazardous gases. The regulator is also capable of withstanding an internal vacuum, making it suitable for purge cycles essential in maintaining system purity.

Safety and versatility are integral to the 312-66-22-00-00 design. The bonnet includes a captured vent port (1/16" FNPT), which allows for the safe piping of vented gases to a disposal system in the unlikely event of a diaphragm failure. This feature is vital for protecting personnel from exposure to toxic fumes. The unit comes equipped with a CGA 330 stainless steel inlet connection and a 1/4" MNPT stainless steel needle valve outlet, providing secure and compatible hookups for standard corrosive gas cylinders. Mounting options are flexible, with a threaded bonnet for front panel installation and a tapped body for rear panel mounting, facilitating seamless integration into gas cabinets and instrument benches.
