The Flametech FG-25-CD Regulator Flow Gauge is a precision-engineered gas control device designed specifically for the regulation of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in industrial welding applications. Constructed from machined brass, this regulator is built to withstand the rigors of daily shop use while maintaining accurate flow delivery. Unlike variable-pressure regulators used for cutting, this unit is a flow gauge regulator, meaning the delivery gauge is calibrated to read flow rate in Standard Cubic Feet per Hour (SCFH) rather than pressure (PSI), providing the operator with immediate visual verification of shielding gas consumption.

The unit features a CGA 320 inlet connection, the standard for Carbon Dioxide cylinders in North America. This connection utilizes a flat-face seal requiring a washer (fiber or plastic) to ensure a leak-free coupling to the cylinder valve. The internal mechanism is designed to handle the specific vapor pressure characteristics of CO2. The regulator steps down the high cylinder pressure to a consistent working pressure, which is then metered through a calibrated orifice to deliver the set flow rate.
