The PowerWeld PW3100V is a pack of two high-performance sweatbands designed specifically for industrial environments where heat stress and perspiration are constant factors. Manufactured from high-quality cotton that has been treated with flame-retardant (FR) chemicals, these sweatbands meet the rigorous safety demands of welding and fabrication shops. The FR treatment ensures that the material will not support combustion or melt when exposed to stray sparks or spatter, a critical feature for any accessory worn inside a welding helmet.


Functionally, the sweatband serves as an interface between the user's forehead and the plastic suspension of a hard hat or welding helmet. It is engineered with a universal fit profile, utilizing a hook and loop (Velcro-style) fastening system that wraps around the brow band of most standard headgear. This secure attachment method prevents the pad from slipping during active work. The cotton material is highly absorbent, capable of wicking moisture away from the skin effectively. This prevents sweat from accumulating and dripping into the eyes or onto safety eyewear, which can cause vision obstruction and potential safety hazards.


Each pack contains two units, allowing for rotation; while one is being washed or dried, the other can be in use. The durability of the cotton weave allows for repeated washing cycles without significant degradation of the material's structural integrity. By maintaining a dry interface, the PW3100V also reduces skin irritation and chafing often caused by direct contact with plastic headgear suspensions over long shifts.
