The Lincoln Electric K126® PRO Innershield® Welding Gun (K126-13) represents the evolution of the industry-standard flux-cored self-shielded (FCAW-SS) welding gun. Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, this 350-amp, air-cooled gun is engineered to withstand the rigorous demands of construction, shipbuilding, and heavy equipment fabrication. The K126-13 model comes equipped with a 15-foot cable and is rated for 350 amps at a 60% duty cycle using CO2, making it a powerhouse for continuous welding operations.

Lincoln Electric has integrated significant upgrades into the PRO series to address common field maintenance challenges. The most notable enhancement is the replaceable liner system. Unlike previous generations where a clogged liner often meant replacing the entire cable assembly, the K126 PRO allows for quick liner replacement, significantly reducing downtime and long-term consumable costs. The gun also utilizes Magnum® PRO Copper Plus™ Contact Tips, which feature a larger diameter and more mass to dissipate heat effectively, preventing tip seizure and extending consumable life.

Durability is central to the K126 PRO's design. The gun tube is encased in a stainless steel jacket that resists spatter adhesion and provides electrical isolation. The trigger leads are integrated directly into the coaxial cable structure rather than being routed externally, eliminating a common failure point caused by abrasion and snagging on the job site. Furthermore, the gun features a replaceable contact tip holder that can be swapped out if a tip fuses, protecting the integrity of the gun tube itself. This model includes a classic 30° non-reverse braided gun tube, offering excellent access to joints while maintaining the rigidity needed for feeding stiffer flux-cored wires.

Versatility is ensured through interchangeable gun connectors, allowing the K126 PRO to be adapted for use with a wide variety of wire feeders beyond just Lincoln Electric models. The K126-13 comes factory-ready to feed 5/64" (2.0 mm) wire but is capable of handling wire diameters ranging from 0.035" to 0.120" with the appropriate consumables.
