The Lincoln Electric Magnum PRO AL Pistol Grip MIG Gun (K3478-1) is a specialized air-cooled push-pull torch designed to optimize aluminum welding operations. Engineered for industrial environments, this 15-foot gun system addresses the common challenges associated with feeding soft aluminum wire. By integrating a motor within the gun handle that works in concert with the welder's wire drive, the push-pull technology significantly reduces friction in the wire feed path. This results in smooth, consistent feeding and minimizes damage to the wire, such as shaving or birdnesting, which are frequent causes of downtime in aluminum fabrication.

Rated for 220 Amps at 60% duty cycle with Argon shielding gas, the K3478-1 is built for performance and reliability. The gun features a lightweight, ergonomic pistol grip handle that is balanced to fit comfortably in either hand, reducing operator fatigue during extended welding sessions.
