The Lincoln Electric Magnum PRO Robotic Air-Cooled Torch (K3359-100IDW) is a specialized welding instrument engineered exclusively for the Fanuc 100iD robotic arm series. This model distinguishes itself with an integrated Wire Brake mechanism, a critical feature for automated cells utilizing touch sensing. The Wire Brake mechanically secures the welding wire during touch routines, preventing wire deflection or movement. This ensures that the robot receives precise positional feedback, which is essential for accurate seam tracking and part location in high-precision manufacturing environments.

Technically, the torch is built around Lincoln's Single Tool Center Point (TCP) philosophy. This design architecture allows operators to interchange between 350A and 550A rated expendables without altering the physical center point of the tool. Consequently, this eliminates the need for time-consuming robot reprogramming or "re-teaching" when switching between light and heavy-duty welding applications. The torch assembly utilizes the HexConnect™ Gun Bushing system. Unlike traditional rotating connections that rely on single-line contact, HexConnect provides full-face electrical contact.
