The Lincoln Electric Magnum PRO AL G450W (K3423-1) is a high-performance, water-cooled push-pull gun designed specifically to overcome the challenges of feeding aluminum wire. In industrial fabrication, soft aluminum wires are prone to buckling, friction, and birdnesting when pushed through standard MIG torches. The G450W integrates a powerful motor directly into the handle that works in synchronization with the wire feeder, pulling the wire smoothly while the feeder pushes, ensuring consistent arc stability and wire delivery over the 15-foot distance.

Heavy-Duty Water Cooling

Engineered for high-amperage applications, the G450W is rated at 450 Amps at 100% duty cycle using mixed shielding gases. The water-cooling system efficiently dissipates heat from the gooseneck and contact tip, significantly extending consumable life compared to air-cooled alternatives. This thermal management is critical when welding thick aluminum sections where high heat input is required for prolonged periods.

Magnum PRO Consumables
