Designed to overcome the friction and feeding challenges associated with soft aluminum wires, this system utilizes a synchronized push-pull motor configuration to ensure consistent, smooth wire delivery over its extended 35-foot (10.6 meter) reach. This model is rated for 450 Amps at 100% duty cycle, making it an ideal choice for heavy manufacturing environments where downtime is not an option.
Integration with the Magnum PRO consumable platform significantly reduces operational costs. The gun utilizes Copper Plus® contact tips, which feature a larger diameter and mass compared to standard tips, improving heat dissipation and extending tip life. The Anti-Seize™ thread design on both the contact tip and diffuser prevents the parts from fusing together, even under the high heat of high-amperage aluminum welding, ensuring easier maintenance and replacement.
The G450W is built with operator comfort and serviceability in mind. The handle features a front trigger design that aligns naturally with the operator's grip. A wire feed speed adjustment dial is conveniently located at the base of the handle, recessed to prevent accidental adjustments while maneuvering. Maintenance is streamlined with a tool-less drive roll cover and a split-wire guide system, allowing for rapid clearing of wire shavings or liner changes. The 12-pin connector ensures seamless communication with compatible Lincoln Electric wire feeders and power sources.
