This component is engineered to facilitate the smooth transmission of soft welding wires, specifically aluminum alloys (4043, 5356), from the drive rolls to the contact tip. The low coefficient of friction provided by the Teflon material is critical for preventing wire deformation, shaving, and drag, which are common issues when feeding aluminum through standard steel or coiled liners.

This liner features an internal diameter suitable for wire sizes ranging from 0.023 inches (0.6 mm) to 0.040 inches (1.0 mm), making it versatile for light-gauge fabrication and repair work. The total length of the liner is precision-cut to 7.188 inches, matching the specific neck dimensions of the Spoolmate 3035 and Spoolmate 3545 guns. This exact length ensures proper seating against the gas diffuser and the back end of the neck, eliminating gaps where the wire could buckle.

The kit is supplied as a package of three (3) liners, allowing for routine maintenance schedules.
