The Miller MDX-100 MIG Gun (SKU: 245926) is a premium 100-amp, air-cooled welding gun designed to replace standard guns on small-frame Miller power sources. Engineered for precision and reliability, this gun utilizes the AccuLock™ MDX™ consumable system. This system is critical for maintaining concentricity between the contact tip and the liner, which significantly reduces wire feeding friction and ensures a stable arc. The gun is rated for 100 amps at 100% duty cycle when using CO2 shielding gas, and 80 amps at 60% duty cycle with mixed gases.
The assembly features a 10-foot (3-meter) cable, offering adequate reach for benchtop and garage applications without compromising wire feedability. The handle is constructed with a durable, impact-resistant polymer and features rubber overmolding to improve grip stability and reduce hand fatigue. The rear strain relief is robust, preventing cable kinking at the machine connection point.
