The Miller XR-25A Pistol Plus is a high-performance, air-cooled push-pull MIG gun engineered specifically for industrial aluminum welding applications. Designed to pair seamlessly with the Miller 74 MPa Plus wire feeder, this 25-foot system delivers superior wire feeding reliability, ensuring consistent arc performance even with soft 4000- and 5000-series aluminum alloys. The gun features a robust motor and drive assembly that minimizes friction and drag, providing a stable wire feed speed of 70 to 875 IPM.

Built for heavy industrial environments such as shipbuilding, railcar fabrication, and emergency vehicle manufacturing, the XR-25A is rated at 200 Amps at 100% duty cycle. Its pistol-grip design offers excellent ergonomics for operators, while the 360-degree rotatable head tube allows access to difficult-to-reach weld joints. The gun supports aluminum wire diameters from .030 to 1/16 inch (0.8 - 1.6 mm) and can also handle hard wires up to .045 inch (1.1 mm), making it a versatile tool for mixed fabrication shops.
