The Tweco® Slip-On Nozzle is specially designed for use with 450 A Tweco® SprayMaster® MIG guns. With a 0.625" bore size, this nozzle fits standard gas diffusers and is ideal for heavy-duty welding applications. The 3.29" nozzle features a 1.117" outer diameter and is made of 122 DHP copper alloy for durability. The part number is clearly stamped on the outer surface for easy identification.
The nozzle has a 3-piece design, consisting of a copper alloy tubing housing, a solid brass nozzle insert, and a silicone nozzle insulator. The insert allows the nozzle to slide over the metal spring of the gas diffuser, ensuring electrical insulation. Each pack includes 2 nozzles.
The Tweco® Slip-On Nozzle is available in three types: recessed, flush, and protruding tips. The recessed tip is suitable for higher heat applications where longer electrical stick-out is required, or when the nozzle may touch the work piece. The flush tip is used when a shorter electrical stick-out is needed, bringing the tip closer to the work piece. The protruding tip is ideal for welding in tight weld joints, but there is a risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, which may require replacement of front end parts and downtime.
