The AlumaPro system mitigates these issues by synchronizing a motor within the gun handle with the wire feeder's motor, maintaining constant tension on the wire.

This assembly features a 25-foot cable, providing significant operational range for welders working on large-scale applications such as shipbuilding, trailer manufacturing, and aerospace components. The "Remote Assy" designation highlights the gun's integrated control capabilities; operators can adjust wire feed speed directly from the handle, eliminating the need to return to the power source for minor adjustments. This feature improves efficiency and weld quality by allowing on-the-fly parameter corrections.
