The Tweco 24A-62 (Stock No. 1240-1120) is a standard duty, adjustable slip-on MIG nozzle designed for the Tweco Professional No. 4 and Spray Master 450 series MIG guns. This nozzle is a critical component in the gas shielding system, directing the flow of shielding gas around the weld pool to prevent atmospheric contamination. It features a 5/8-inch (0.625" / 15.9 mm) bore orifice, which is the industry standard size for general-purpose fabrication and medium-to-heavy duty welding applications.

Manufactured from high-grade copper alloy, the 24A-62 is engineered to withstand the intense radiant heat of the welding arc and resist the adhesion of weld spatter. The "A" in the part number designates its adjustable nature; it slides over the nozzle insulator (typically part number 34A or 34CT), allowing the welder to adjust the nozzle position relative to the contact tip. This adjustment capability is essential for controlling the contact tip stick-out (recess or extension) to suit different welding modes, such as short-circuit or spray transfer.

This package contains two (2) nozzles. The unit is compatible with standard Tweco consumables including 14 Series contact tips and 54A gas diffusers. Proper maintenance of the nozzle, including regular cleaning of spatter buildup and the use of anti-spatter compounds, will prolong its service life and ensure consistent laminar gas flow.
