The Tweco EL24CT-50 is a premium gas nozzle specifically engineered for the Tweco Eliminator series of MIG guns. This component plays a critical role in the shielding gas management system, directing the flow of inert gas over the weld pool to prevent atmospheric contamination. The nozzle features a 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) bore orifice, which is widely considered the standard size for general-purpose welding with wire diameters ranging from 0.030" to 0.045". This bore size ensures adequate gas velocity and coverage while maintaining a profile slim enough to access standard fillet welds and corner joints.

A defining feature of the EL24CT-50 is its "CT" or Coarse Thread design. Unlike fine-threaded nozzles that can easily cross-thread or seize due to thermal expansion and spatter accumulation, the coarse thread profile provides a robust mechanical connection that remains easy to unscrew even after prolonged exposure to welding heat.
