Part of the renowned Tweco 24 Series, this nozzle is engineered to fit Tweco #4 (400 Amp) and #5 (500 Amp) air-cooled MIG guns, as well as compatible aftermarket torches utilizing the Tweco front-end standard. The nozzle features a 5/8-inch (15.9 mm) bore orifice, which provides a broad shield of gas coverage suitable for medium to heavy plate welding where weld pool protection is critical.

Constructed from a robust copper alloy, the HD24L-62-F is built to resist the intense thermal cycling and spatter adhesion common in high-duty cycle welding environments. The "L" in the model designation indicates a "Long" housing configuration, while the "F" denotes a Flush contact tip relationship. This flush alignment places the contact tip end even with the nozzle exit, offering a versatile balance between gas coverage and stick-out visibility. The nozzle utilizes a coarse thread design to secure directly onto the gas diffuser, ensuring concentricity and efficient heat transfer away from the front end. It is a self-insulated component, featuring high-temperature electrical insulation material integrated into the nozzle body to prevent electrical shorts against the workpiece.
