The Tweco 1360-1400, commonly referred to as the model 34CT, is a critical component for the maintenance and operation of Tweco No. 3 (300 Amp) and No. 4 (400 Amp) MIG welding guns. This nozzle insulator is engineered to provide a robust electrical barrier between the electrically live gas diffuser and the outer metal nozzle. By effectively isolating these components, the insulator prevents the nozzle from becoming electrically charged, which is essential for preventing accidental arcing against the workpiece and ensuring operator safety.

Manufactured from a high-temperature fiberglass composite material, the 34CT insulator is designed to withstand the extreme thermal cycling and radiant heat generated during the MIG welding process. Its durability ensures that it maintains its structural integrity even in high-duty cycle applications. The insulator fits securely over the gas diffuser (typically the 52 or 54 series diffusers) and provides the seating surface for the nozzle (typically the 23 or 24 series nozzles). Proper inspection and replacement of the insulator are vital; a cracked or carbon-tracked insulator can lead to erratic gas coverage, internal arcing, and premature failure of the nozzle assembly.

This package contains two (2) insulators, allowing for immediate replacement and stock replenishment.
