Tweco Velocity VNL-FC Flux Core Nozzle (1240-1892)

The Tweco 1240-1892 (Model VNL-FC) is a specialized nozzle protector designed for the Velocity consumable system. This component is engineered specifically for self-shielded flux-cored arc welding (FCAW-S) applications where shielding gas is not required. By replacing the standard gas nozzle with the VNL-FC, operators can protect the external threads and seating surfaces of the gas diffuser or conductor tube from molten spatter and radiant heat, extending the lifespan of the front-end consumables.

Manufactured from high-grade copper, the VNL-FC offers excellent thermal conductivity and durability in harsh industrial environments. The Velocity system is renowned for its integrated design which typically reduces the number of threaded connections; the VNL-FC complements this by providing a secure, spatter-resistant shield for the tip holder area. It is compatible with Tweco Fusion MIG guns and any other MIG torches that have been converted to use Tweco Velocity consumables. This package contains two (2) VNL-FC nozzles, ensuring you have a spare on hand for continuous production.

Using the correct nozzle for flux-core welding is critical for maintaining equipment integrity.
