At the core of this system is the Velocity consumable platform. Unlike traditional threaded tips, Velocity contact tips utilize a threadless, drop-in design that maximizes surface contact for superior electrical conductivity. This results in a more stable arc, less heat buildup, and longer consumable life. The gas flow path is optimized to ensure excellent shielding coverage, reducing porosity and rework. The gun is rated for 250 amps at a 60% duty cycle using CO2 gas, making it a robust choice for mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum welding applications.
