The Western Enterprises PF-4-36 is a high-performance flexible pigtail designed for demanding industrial gas applications. Engineered for reliability in high-pressure environments, this 36-inch hose assembly is rated for a service pressure of 3000 psig. The core of the pigtail is constructed from Polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), a material chosen for its exceptional chemical inertness. This PTFE core is resistant to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents, ensuring the integrity of the gas stream is maintained without contamination or degradation of the hose liner. The only known exceptions to this resistance are molten alkali metals and fluorine at elevated temperatures and pressures, conditions rarely encountered in standard gas manifold setups.

To support the high-pressure rating and provide mechanical protection, the Teflon core is reinforced with two outer jackets of 304 stainless steel braid. This double-braided design not only contains the internal pressure but also offers significant resistance to abrasion and physical damage in rough industrial environments. The hose is terminated with brass fittings featuring 1/4 inch NPT Female connections, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of standard manifold blocks and regulators.
