The Thermal Dynamics 7-8910 Deluxe Cutting Guide Kit is a comprehensive accessory package designed to enhance the versatility and precision of Thermal Dynamics plasma cutting systems. This kit is engineered to facilitate the cutting of accurate circles, straight lines, and bevels, significantly reducing the need for secondary machining or grinding. The primary function of the kit is its circle cutting capability, allowing operators to cut diameters ranging from 2-1/8 inches (54mm) up to 41-1/2 inches (1054mm) when using the proper attachments included in the box.

The kit is built around a modular system that attaches to the plasma torch cup. It is directly compatible with Thermal Dynamics SL60 and SL100 torches, commonly found on Cutmaster 52, 82, 102, and 152 machines, as well as older PCH 25, 35, and 75 series torches. For users of the Cutmaster 42 with the SL40 torch, this kit can be utilized with the addition of the 7-2915 bushing adapter (not included in this kit). The guide maintains a consistent standoff height, which is critical for maximizing consumable life and ensuring cut quality.

Included in the 7-8910 kit are several essential components: a Radius/Roller Kit (7-7501) for smooth movement, a Circle Cutting Guide (7-3291), a Radius Bar for extending the reach, and a Pivot Pin. To accommodate different workpiece surfaces, the kit provides both a Magnetic Pivot for ferrous metals and a Suction Pivot for non-ferrous materials or surfaces where a magnet cannot be used. A Standoff Roller Guide is also provided to assist in straight-line cutting by keeping the torch at a fixed distance from the plate. All components are housed in a rugged, custom-molded plastic carrying case (12.8 x 15.1 x 2.7 inches), ensuring that these precision tools are protected during transport and storage.
