The CK Worldwide D2GS418 is a specialized consumable kit designed for 2 Series TIG torches, including models 9, 20, 100, 110, 130, 200, and 230. This kit is engineered to optimize shielding gas flow, creating a laminar column of gas that protects the weld pool more effectively than standard collet bodies. By streamlining the gas path, the system reduces turbulence and atmospheric contamination, which is critical for welding reactive metals like stainless steel and titanium.

The kit is configured for 1/8" (3.2mm) tungsten electrodes. It replaces the standard front-end consumables of the torch with a proprietary system consisting of a heatshield, collet, collet body, tungsten adapter, and an Alumina cup. The design allows for a tungsten stick-out of up to 6 times the electrode diameter, far exceeding the capabilities of standard nozzles. This extended reach is achieved without compromising gas coverage, thanks to the efficient diffusion technology integrated into the collet body and adapter assembly.
