The 14K11 O-Ring is a small but critical component in your TIG welding setup. Designed to fit the back caps of the most common TIG torch series—including WP-9, WP-17, WP-18, WP-20, and WP-26—this O-ring creates the primary seal that prevents atmospheric air from being drawn into your shielding gas stream. A compromised O-ring can lead to frustrating gas turbulence, poor coverage, and ultimately, weld porosity.
Over time, the heat and mechanical stress of tightening and loosening back caps can cause O-rings to dry out, crack, or flatten.
