The 14N14 Sleeve Insulator is a critical component in the assembly of Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) torches. Designed to sit between the collet body (or gas lens) and the gas nozzle, this insulator performs two primary functions: electrical isolation and gas sealing. Constructed from high-temperature phenolic or similar thermoset plastic materials, it possesses high dielectric strength, effectively preventing the welding current from arcing to the nozzle or other non-conductive parts of the torch head.
