The Weldcraft A-125 Valve TIG Torch Package (formerly known as the WP-9V series) is a premium air-cooled solution designed for precision welding in industrial and maintenance environments. Engineered by Miller Electric under the Weldcraft brand, this torch combines the lightweight maneuverability of the classic 9-series body with the functional independence of a manual gas control valve. This specific configuration, the WP-9V-25-R, is equipped with a heavy-duty 25-foot rubber power cable, offering superior resistance to heat and abrasion compared to standard vinyl cables, making it suitable for shop floors and field work alike.

The defining feature of the A-125 Valve model is the fingertip gas control valve located on the torch body. This allows the operator to manually open and close the shielding gas flow, a critical requirement when TIG welding with power sources that do not possess an internal gas solenoid, such as many Stick welding machines or engine-driven welders. The torch is rated for 125 Amps DC and 100 Amps AC at a 60% duty cycle, making it an excellent choice for welding thin-gauge materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.
